Cybertill’s charity EPoS system is used in several thousand charity shops in the UK. Importantly it is easy to use at point of sale and has many innovative features including stock control on donated and bought in goods, workshop facility (for electrical and ‘freecycled’ goods) and a loyalty programme. The EPoS system integrates with our gift aid solutions. It can also be used as part of a multi-channel system linking to ecommerce websites and mail order operations.
Gift Aid has been the catalyst for many charities to invest in an EPoS system to help them manage their shops and stock more efficiently. However, many available gift aid systems rely on hand written labels and make the point of sale process even more complex.
Single Scan Gift Aid
Cybertill’s single scan gift aid system is the most advanced solution available, whilst also being the easiest to use. Volunteers simply scan a barcode (that contains donor ID, product type and category and price) at the point of sale and take payment.
The future of all retail, including charity retail, is multi-channel. As the sector has evolved so have many charities who have embraced multi-channel retail and sell through websites or catalogue sales. Cybertill has multi-channel applications, such as ecommerce and mail order, that enable charities to sell in-store, online and over the phone.
Cybertill can also go a step further and manage cross channel promotions as well as helping larger charities manage bought in goods and their supply chain with merchandising and warehousing modules.
